Your air as a screensaver.
When the computer rests, the screen fills with your air: the headline, the three-day trail drawing itself across the map, the radar, then a zoom out to half the planet. Fresh every 15 minutes.
Rounded to about 7 miles and kept on this device. It only goes into the snippets below.
Your screensaver address

- Install WebViewScreenSaver, a free open-source screensaver that shows a web page. With Homebrew:
brew install --cask webviewscreensaver - System Settings → Screen Saver, pick WebViewScreenSaver, then Options.
- Add your address above and set the time to -1 so it stays on Air Story.
On macOS 26, if Options doesn't open, close System Settings and open it again.
Windows
- Get Lively Wallpaper (free, open source, in the Microsoft Store).
- Add a wallpaper from a web address and paste your address above.
- In Lively's settings, turn on its screensaver and choose that wallpaper.
What you're looking at
The same chapters as the app, one at a time: how the air feels, where it was three days ago, what's above you (rain radar in the US, satellite clouds elsewhere) and the zoom out from your street to half the world. Move the mouse or press a key to leave.
Privacy
Your spot is rounded to about 7 miles before it's used, and nothing about you is stored. Devices ask our server at most every 15 minutes; it answers from public NOAA and National Weather Service data. No account, no key, no sign-up.
