Privacy
The extension stores your spot on your computer and asks our server for the air there at most every 15 minutes, rounded to about 7 miles. If you search for a place, that text goes to Photon (OpenStreetMap search) and nowhere else. No analytics.
Covers the United States for now. The spoken answer uses National Weather Service stations; the rest of the world is next.
